About Simone

Dra. Simone Ferreira is a Brazilian lawyer, registered with OAB/RN under No. 14.118, in continuous practice since 2015. She practises immigration law across three areas: family reunification, residence and naturalization. Her eleven years at the bar were built in administrative law, contract law, consumer law and civil law, with postgraduate qualifications in Civil Law and Civil Procedure, Consumer Law and Administrative Law. What that path produced is concrete: running administrative procedures, reading official acts and their deadlines, analysing documents, drafting and reviewing lease and sale contracts. Those are tasks that life as a foreign national in Brazil also demands. Legal services are fully online, throughout Brazil, and the first conversation exists to understand the situation before any procedure is started.

She graduated in Law from Universidade Potiguar (UNP) in 2014 and completed postgraduate studies there in Civil Law and Civil Procedure and in Consumer Law. These were followed by postgraduate qualifications in Administrative Law and in Psychoanalysis, the latter at Centro de Mediadores. Her postgraduate studies in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at Damásio Educacional are in progress.

Her active caseload includes consumer and administrative matters, with proceedings involving the State of Rio Grande do Norte, IPERN and the municipalities of Natal and Parnamirim. These are examples of experience in RN; they do not limit her nationwide practice. Her work spans initial pleadings through appeals in Brazil’s special courts (Juizados Especiais) and ordinary courts.
